Solved! Alt + LMB not selecting edge loop in version 3.3.1

In version 3.3.1 I am unable to select an edge loop with the hot keys Atl + LMB. In fact holding the alt key I am not able to select even one edge.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a possibility that some addon I have might interfere with this hot key?

If I hold the CTRL key it will select an edge and when holding the CTRL key it will find the shortest route to the next edge I select. But the ALT key seems to not work at all when selecting and edge.

Here are the addons that are activated.

I unchecked all the addons that were not default. I restarted the computer. Opened Blender 3.3 but still holding the Alt key will not select an edge.

Did they change this hotkey to select edge loops?

Alt + RMB still works for me, although I use Right Click select :thinking:

I had "Emulate 3-Button Mouse selected in Preferences. I found out that if that is selected then I simply have to double-left-click on an edge and it will select the edge loop.

So I have unchecked Emulate 3-Button Mouse.
