solved: insert speacial characters in a text

Hi folks,
I thought of using blender to display a 3D text with some nice effects. Does anyone know how to bring a lettle like the tau into blender? I already tryed copy + paste and loading a text file. Both didn’t work.

never mind … I found it :smiley:

In Windows, create a Text object, then in the editing context (F9) Font tab, click the Load button. Navigate to your WINNT\Fonts directory and select a font. In Windows the Symbol typeface contains your tau chareactear. I haven’t tried this in other OS.
