I have practiced using the Blender program when motivated and have the time over the past decade. Have not produced anything considered advanced, instead simple objects rendered and saved for opening into raster drawing and painting programs as layers added to an image. I have done a considerable amount of painting and drawing over the course of my life.
I have six books on my shelf for Blender instruction: Three by Jason Van Gumster- “Blender for Dummies” (1rst, 3rd and latest All in One versions), One book by Roland Hess- “Blender Foundations”, One book by John M. Blaine “The Comprehensive Guide to Blender Graphics” (Seventh Edition), and One book by Harshit Mishra- “Blender 3.1 Tutorial 2022, Basic to Advanced”. The books by Jason Van Gumster I find useful and as a result have purchased three editions. The book by John Blaine is excellent with details involving step by step process of instruction. The Roland Hess book is something I got into years ago following the 2.0 version releases of Blender, and was helpful in getting started understanding how this program works.
The one book I have a problem with is “Blender 3.1 Tutorial 2022” by Harshit Mishra purchased through Amazon. This book is something I do not understand and find very strange. I have truthfully not learned anything from this book and find it abstract in content. What exactly is the author providing as information?
