Some fun with Furniture

Just had some fun toying with rendering this chair for the poster:

This is part of my Furniture design and rendering tutorials starting from scratch with installing Blender.

YouTube: Furniture Design Playlist

Enjoy

Looks really high quality. Nice work!

Thanks I was just doodeling but then liked the outcome

Good Fresnel effect, good color

Actually the materials are all very very basic - this was the first set of furniture renderings for my students so I kept
materials at a basic - not yet talking about a physically more accurate material design.

I think camera angle light and scene design is more what contributes to the image impression…

But you know what here is the file to play with if you want: Blend File

Thanks
for the blend
I´m of course, you can have the most realistic materials, but if you don´t know about lightning, your results won’t be the best

I played with materials and color adjustment… good lighting

Nice rendering - the metal reflection on the legs is nice.

What needs to be fixed is trying to render the seat shell when a reflection board is further away as it shows up on the shell left side reflection.
And the rendering needs color adjustment - there is the typical gray film over it.

Lovely render! I’ve been having a go at furniture lately, but my lighting needs more work… I’ll definitely be checking your tutorial out.

You can also look for some good photos and then try to rebuild the lighting in the photos. You can learn a lot from such rebuilds.
