Some gameplay test video

I thought I’d experiment with capturing some gameplay video from my current project. It’s an action/rpg twin-stick-shooter, set on a spaceship infected with some sort of ghostly presence. Here’s what I ended up with: ghostyGameplayTest

I haven’t implemented my spawing system yet, so it’s just constantly adding enemies. There’s also not much in the way of effects yet, but I’ll probably focus on making terrain and level stuff before I worry about that.

I also put some other shorter videos up on my blog here . There’s a sidescrolling template game I was working on, and shorter versions of the main video.

Looks pretty hectic! The ghost mode looks cool =D.

Actully I like hetic amount of enemies, it reminds of geometry wars. Your game looks promising and the graphics already look really cool.

The game looks great! Can’t wait to play it.

That’s Awesome! It has awesome graphics, looks fun, can’t wait to play it.

Looks really great!! Appears be an geat action game, and very hard too !

This is gonna be fun!

Ghost most looks cool, though I’m not sure why you would have trees on a spaceship.

The environment is superb. The gameplay is ok.

My only problem here was with the video itself. I can’t believe that I’m actually going to say this, but: “The video was too long”.

I mean there was no reason to watch any more than ~10 seconds of each half, because once you’ve seen the environment, and the little guy shooting the skulls (I’m assuming that’s what those are), you’ve pretty much seen all there is to see.

That said; this looks like a great project. Keep up the good work.

PS: I also like that side-scrolling game. I think you should try to finish that.

now thats my kind of game

Love how many targets you get on the screen at one time.

Keep up the great work

Tip:
open up GIMP make a new image with a transparent blackground, rightclick on the image canvas area,
