Some Origami

Making real 3D art had been a passion of mine for a long time. Here are some origamis I have done lately

This is a cobra designed by Ronald Koh
That was made out of a strip of paper 3 feet long and 6 inches wide.
When i make the whole thing i’ll need a 6in by 90in piece of paper

This is a rose designed by Kawasaki. This took me about 30mins. I had a free period and all i could find was a tiny sheet of pink paper, so i folded it  I think it was 2in by 2in

That rose is sweet!

One of my favorites is a little fish that is a simple modification of the water bomb. (Sorry, I haven’t any pictures for you… yet)

If you fold one exactly 4.25 inches square, it is just big enough to put a Hershey’s Kiss inside.

Another favorite is one of the most complex I’ve ever folded: a grasshopper. If you use the right paper it could easily be mistaken for the actual thing when done. (It took me about two hours to learn to fold it, but after some time I was able to whittle that down to about 30 minutes.)

If I can I’ll either link pictures or directions…

P.S. Love that rose!

The rose is one of my favorites.

When I finish the cobra it shiould look something like this

But thats after 30 hours of folding

Amazing works!! :o

Who did the cobra? I like your stuff.

I think Ronald Koh was the one who folded this one. He has a lot of good stuff. All of it is complex and life like, including his pooping dog.
