Some questions about cloth.

Hi, I made this curtain using the cloth simulator. What I need to do now is figure out how to make this position permanent so I can move it, edit it or duplicate it. Any suggestions?

Also, I have a problem with the cloth floating above the surface, I need my cloth to lay flat on the surface.

I’m kind of at a stand still right now until I can get this figured out so any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

To make that position permanent, just hit the Apply button on the modifier.

The floating cloth is probably something to do with your collision settings, but it’s hard to tell without seeing the file. www.pasteall.org/blend and share the link here.
