…regarding the “materials” section in B.
Danke Schön
Don’t know
It has effect when using halo materials on particles, try experimenting
My question is:
What do you think the Question and Answer Forum is here for ?
Stefano
don´t know either…
BUT
the almighty and mysterious manual says:
Stencil (togbut)
Normally, textures are executed one after the other and laid over one another.
A second texture channel can completely replace the first.
With this option, the mapping goes into stencil mode. No subsequent texture can have an effect on the area the current texture affects.
So if you try it out with only one texture, it won´t change anything.
What does ‘Danke Schön’ mean?
HH
Ok…I know what stencil does sort of…
Think of it as a cover…make a texture with Black stripes and then clear stripes (alpha at 0)…If stencil is activated the textrue before it should only show on the clear part…Sooo…Its like putting somthing on before painting the texture on so certain parts of the moddel arent effected…I’m pretty sure thats it but I just telling you what it does, not how to use it hehe
I think it means ‘thank you’.
So you don´t know…
HH
sorry, a minor brain-fart occurred
edit:
Yes, Danke Schön means thank you
Ohhh…
So there is more than one translation to ‘thank you’
My friend Bob once told me to use ‘du kannst mich’, if I want to say ‘thank you’ in german. Havn´t tested it yet. And I haven´t found it in the dictionary. Must be an ideom.
So, Danke schön for the explanation.
HH
LOL
With my quite bad deutsch, I still understand what that “du kannst mich” means
I’m not abusolutely sure, but I think it means roughly something like “you can me”
Hmmm maybe he got it off of babelfish… there it says the translation means:
you can do me
well, ‘du kannst mich’ is only the short form of ‘du kannst mich am Arsch lecken’ which means something like ‘you can lick me at my ass’
It’s not really that terrible, but you shouldn’t use is that often
oh…
Bob kann mich
English translation would be “Kiss my ass”, I think
good to know…you never finish learning
