Some silly questions >.>

I cant seem to acces the sphysics options for the blender game engine…
the one where you can set it as a ghost and stuff… it should be under physics… all im getting are the simulations like smoke and cloth… and yes… im using the game logic layout

also… the GSLS renderer doesnt seem to work… only when im using NO materials it becomes shaded… if im using materials it all turns white… seems odd… but im sure its because im missing one dumb option xD

third thing is actually more of a request… im trying to figure out messages and properties work… so if i get hit 3 times its game over… or if a certain number of missiles hit a plane ill go level up and certain values change…

thanks in advance…

and on a side note… ive never had these problems with 2.49… hmm…
im using the newest build from graphicall.org now… the one with the updated logics.
Trunk Blender 2.5 r29409 WIN32

Blender 2.5 is still being built. You won’t be able to find EVERYTHING that should be there.

For the GLSL thing, your graphics card may not support it.

nah… david ward had those options in his tutorial on blendercookie…
also… GLSL workes for me in blender 2.49… it also works in other programs/games…

The physics stuff is in the Physics tab; look on the strip that contains stuff like World, and Material; it’s not in the 2.49 Game Logic-looking tab. The materials should work regardless of what layout you use. Also, if you’re trying to do something like a ‘get hit three times and you die’ kind of a thing, try setting a ‘health’ or ‘hit’ object variable in your player and incrementing it every time you get hit (by a missile or whatever). Once it’s three, it’s Game Over.

At the top right of the blender screen there is a drop down list that says “Blender render”. Change it to blender game and the buttons in the physic tab will change.
