Some visualizations of molecules for my classes

Hi folks!

So I created two visualizations a couple of months back of two metal molecule structures, one more dense than the other. Fairly simple, so I’ll just post here in the test section. Click on 'em for larger versions.

And at least my chemistry teacher seemed to like them :wink:

I like the shine effect on them. They look cool.

Chemistry would seem so much more interesting these days with cool stuff like this.

Thanks for the positive comments guys :slight_smile: and I used a HDRI from a library I found somewhere, along with an area lamp and AO, simple and good :wink:

Perhaps worth to mention is the illustrations and animations I made of fat molecules and proteins last year, which were taken up by NDLA (National Digital Learning Area): http://ndla.no/nb/node/53263
