Well I downloaded the new blender and everythings fine. BUT my subsurf button is gone, and the particle buttons and things are gone too! The fluid adn stuff! Is there some advanced mode or something that you have to put on in the new one? Thanks
Nothing wrong with your install, but some buttons got moved.
Subsurf:
In the editing scetion (F9), there is a panel labeled modifier stack. Click add modifier->subsurf.
Particles & Fludisim:
Object section (F7), then go over four buttons to the right, and you should see one that looks a plane with some particles coming out of it. Click that.
