I did download and test your files. Doing what I said, makes the video texture work as you expect.
Why don’t YOU try the suggestions people are kindly offering?
In case the solution I gave, doesn’t work for you, I don’t know what to say, I use Blender 2.78, maybe it’s that. So, being that the case, it would be your part to download 2.78 and give a try.
And by the way, I can’t see reasons for not updating anyway…

That’s not a problem at all. What sounded annoying to my ears was your assumption that no one tried your files.
But that’s fine anyway. Keep on learning, it will pay back. (And why not, uprgade to 2.78 ;))

Why not upgrade? Years of experience!
It is not always backward compatable
Even when the folks at the top say it is.
I have proven to their satisfaction that it is not.
Ok, you surely have your reasons, but beware that Blender Internal engine days are running off, and then you’ll be left with an outdated Blender like… forever! A switch to Cycles, or the coming Eevee engine could be a necessity, and maybe an opportunity. Bye
