Hello, im trying to join two of my objects together but when i do it doubles one of the objects?..

example. I select the first one and the outline is yellow ( like normal ).
Then i select the second one and its red?
I then proceed to join them by using Ctrl-J.
Then it doubles the hands (the second object) but
joins the torso ( the first object).

So i guess they are joing, but its doubling the hand meshes…
im like…FTW…:frowning:

your torso mesh is using a mirror modifier. remove it and join the meshes.

Joins first object (torso) to what? Does it happen even if you select objects in Outliner? Could you delete what’s doubled/ not needed?
Join two default cubes in a new file - same?
