Is there a way now with 2.53 to link /convert sound curve to ipo so as to animate object channel?

I guess you’d need a python module that has the ability to get the “loudness” of an audio file at a particular point, then translate that into the IPO curves

I was thinking that with the new ipo modifier something will act like that.

There was an old script for 2.49 not sure if it has translated to 2.53 yet. Search though.
