Sound driven bones and particles?

Is it possible to drive bones and or particles with sound in the way another user (don’t know name) has with displacement animation?

could be some cool effects to drive rigs or emitters with sound.

there is actually an option to “Bake Sound to F-Curves” in the graph editor. select one (or all) of the f-curves you want to bake a sound wave to, then go to the “Key” menu, and select “Bake Sound to F-Curves”. you can do this with anything that’s been keyed, whether emitters, bones, whatever.

Jakchit I animation this mouth by Bakeing the sound of me speaking to the shape key I used for the mouth to open and close. I tried it on a Armeture but it just goes up and I can’t seem to edit it once I have baked it. that’s an interesting way to use sound. I never thought about using it for lip sync. cool
