Sound Problems

I am building a complex (around 680kb compressed) game and when adding sound and running it in the game engine, the sound breaks up and has high frequency noise. My computer is of a high enough spec to run high spec commercial games, and when I tried adding sound in a scene with very few objects, it sounded o.k. I have tried various bitrates, mono and stereo etc, but it still doesn’t get rid of the problem. Is there a fix/patch/workaround in Blender for this.
