Sound to play once the Game Engine has loaded

Hi,

I wanted to know how can I create a sound that will play once the game engine has loaded.

I tried ‘Near’ ‘And’ and a ‘sound’ that doesn’t play the sound once the cube.001 is within range.

I also want to get a one second animating sprite, so two colours working once the sound works.

I read through the Game Development book, and I have viewed the video site Youtube for a number of sound game engine tutorials, nothing there is what I need.

As for the animating sprite, I still can’t figure that out. But not as important as the sound, either I guess are.

You can use an always sensor linked to an “And” controller linked to a sound actuator.

The problem with that, is it is far too basic.

A near should work within a range once the player is nearby, what could be the reason for it not working? I haven’t used any ‘Near’ bricks.
