I’m in Blender 2.8 here. I have a 3D Connexion space navigator and in Maya it allows you to orbit an object and pan the camera and zoom the camera in and out (or maybe dolly the camera in and out?) all at once. This functionality is excellent in Maya and I want the same functionality in Blender but in Blender you have only two options: 1. orbit and zoom or 2. pan and zoom and turn the camera as if in first person perspective.
I want to be able to pan the camera and orbit objects and zoom in and out all at once without having to switch modes. I am aware of going into user preferences and going into the 3D menu and altering the ndof settings. This does not resolve the issue as far as I can tell. Can anyone help me figure this out?
