Spacecraft GN-117C Duel Railgun Corvette (materials WIP)

First actual design project I started. Since I am slightly bit bad at texturing and creating materials for my project and it is taking ages, this is a render of the current ship with default materials. Interestingly the default materials along with my lighting creates this miniature effect and it looked pretty nice so here it is on blenderartists.org.

(This is NOT the original file, original Render Time: 1 hour 52 min)

Good start. However the render is so blurry that it is hard to get the rest of the shape.

Still them Railguns.

I’m working on the ship while finding new angles and lightings to render it. One problem I have on rendering is to find the balance between realism and to show the model, in space there isn’t any area for light to reflect off and illuminate the shadowed area of the scene putting the darkside in complete abyss; but in the mean time I need to show my audiences the rest of my ship. I wonder perhaps I should put it in a hanger to get better lighting…

Before you put it in a hanger, show renders without any filters. and develop the background over time.
