Just a little sort of doodle type thing i did tonight before i head to bed, i havent really ever done people before:
i know it needs a lot of work, i will try and revise it some time soon. i wanted to add another space guy getting smashed by the rock the main charactar is throwing, but i ran out of paper

so, what do you see in it exactly (what does it look like hes doing to you?), and how could i improve upon it?

Ok that just looks like a sweet sketch.
What I see is that the spaceman is trying to propel himself backwards, hence he is trowing an object forward (conservation of momentum). If he is aiming the rock at anothewr spaceman, they will both be floating away from eah other. Try to incorporate that in your edit!
I see a space rock, or something similar, maybe cheese 
, and im not quite sure about its significance just under the spaceman.
Its an amazing sketch for something drawn just before going to bed. I dont want you to take offence on anything I say, but the detailing on the spaceman’s suit could be improved. Take a look at the latest NASA suits - amazing!
thank you, your comment has inspired me . the asteroid is supposed to be on his left and he is using to push off of with his left arm (there is a hand on the left side of the asteroid, not very visible though). im trying to get better at showing stuff like that.

i made another sketch:
same basic idea, i think it looks better, but is in a more akward position as you cant really see what he is doing all that well head-on. i dont know what exactly he should be throwing at the guy. i want to get a sense of great action, and a sort of david and goliath feeling with the unarmed guy using his wits (sort of) instead of a gun
so, any suggestions?

He is emerging from a doorway of a spaceship (spaceship isnt drawn yet) and is throwing something at the bad guy. his left hand is pushing off of the side of the hull and his right is throwing the rock while the rest of his body is still half-in the space ship
