Spannerworx is looking for 3D game artist

Spannerworx is looking for 3D game artist to assist in developing their latest game. The framework for the game is nearing completion so there is a need for artwork.

From the Spannerworx site:
“Critical Supply is the first computer game developed by the international and independent game development team, Spannerworx. It is intended to be a free open-source project, distributed under the GNU public license and aimed at middle to high-end PC’s.”

This means this is a non-paying job so only apply if your are willing to work on it for free. Most team members are students and professionals who work on this game in their spare time. You don’t need to be a professional to apply as long as you have the skills listed below

The work will involve the modeling and texturing of buildings, weapons, vehicles, trees and al kinds of props. There is also a need for people who can rig and animate characters.
You need to have at least one of the following 3D skills:

  • lowpoly modeling
  • UV mapping
  • Texture painting
  • (character) animation

Please contact me at [email protected] if you are interested. Please include relevant work samples in a zip file attached to the mail (2 MB max) or links to work samples. If you dont have relevant work samples but do have good modeling skills its possible to do a modeling test to see if you capable enough.
