SPE gone forever ?

stani, thanks for infos. Very usefuls. Please also add the old Favicon to the newest RSS channel.

Hi

How this SPE should start in winxp?

It wont start from programs menu and it don’t open the .py files with ‘edit with SPE’ function.

Are there some extra settings to do?

Hi Xjazz,
I just went thru this myself. The solution was to install python 2.4.4 (no problems will result as they coexist together), look thru the wxPython download archive for the 2.6.1.0 ansi version and then install SPE 0.8.3.c, it will ask which python to use (2.4.4 or 2.5.1), I chose 2.4.4 since I downloaded the SPE version that requires it.

The version of SPE 0.8.3.c will say which versions are required of wxPython and Python in the name of the file you use…

For example:
SPE-0.8.3.c-wx2.6.1.0-py24.exe
<or>
SPE-0.8.3.c-wx2.6.1.0-py25.exe

Hope this helps,

SPE has just been improved to catch up with the latest blender. Please test SPE 0.8.4.b from subversion:
