Specific Bone Doesn't Deform Mesh

Hi, I’m new to blender and was working on my first rig last night.

The issue is: when I move LowerJaw bone in pose mode, the model does not move.

I have the armature modifier on my mesh, and there are vertex groups named after all of the bones. Here is my set up:

I have checked LowerJaw vertices and they exist. When I select the mesh and go into Weight Paint mode, I can see that part of it is painted red. I would expect those vertices to move when I go into pose mode and move the LowerJaw bone. However, there is no deformation.

I would really appreciate some help.

There are so many options in Blender it is overwhelming. I guess I accidentally unticked that or maybe did a keystroke that changed it. Thanks so much for your fast answer, now I can make more progress.
