Specifying cameras on a Cycles/BI scene composition

Hi there,

I have a sci-fi type scene of a space ship where the main part of it will be rendered in Cycles. However, I want to add some god-ray type effects. So I duplicated the Scene using ‘Link Objects’ to create an identical scene in terms of geometry and set this to render in Blender Internal and added some Point Lights with Halo ticked (to create god-rays).

I then use the compositor to impose the god rays layer from BI scene onto the Cycles layer of all.

It’s here that I need to tell you that I have 2 cameras ; one to show the inside of the ship, the other to show the exterior of the ship.

The trouble is, that the layer from the BI scene simply WILL NOT render from the correct camera, even if I go to the BI scene and specify this by selecting the camera and choosing ‘Set active object as camera’.

I must be missing another camera setting for the layer or scene somewhere. To overlay properly, obviously I need each instance of the same camera in both scenes to be used.

Hope you geniuses can help!
Thanks

Silly me! I tend to find that posting a cry for help always seems to make me find the solution myself not long after! All I needed to do was go to the Properties’ ‘Scene tab’ and select which camera per scene!! Sorry if this wasted anyone’s time!
