Speed of clip

Hi

I’ve started with blender a couple of weeks ago and am using it to edit clips. I finished my little movie, but everytime I render it, I face a problem: all the clips in the project, that are shot at 50 fps are played in the rendered version at double the normal speed, although my project is in 50 fps too… I tried to work-around by adding a speed control of 0.5, but then the clips are played at half the normal speed… :frowning:

Can anybody tell me what I am doing wrong, cause I have tried a lot of things and I ran out of ideas…

PS: the other clips (24 fps & 29.79 fps don’t face the problem)

It is because blender is rendering them at 24 frames a second. To change that go under dimensions in the properties panel and select custom. Then change it to whatever speed you need.

I set this rate at 50 fps before I started the project and it still is on 50 fps…

However, I tried some random changes and it seems that the problem is solved when I set the frame-step to 2…
I’m happy it’s gone for the moment, but why?
