speranza

Hi guys
my english is bad but…
i’m stefano, a painter/sculptor from rome italy, i new in this forum and with blender, i have more experience with 3ds max (from 1993 3d studio for dos :smiley: ) and now i’m beginning to use only blender.
i like to share my blender’s second work with you and are interested in your feedback .
my last work is named “speranza” (“hope” in english"), is made with blender 2.55.
I did these steps:

                  p { margin-bottom: 0.21cm; }  Alchemy for the first sketch

                  p { margin-bottom: 0.21cm; }  My Paint for more precise concept

and the blender result

I know that is not 'awesome but I’m learning :smiley:

Bello :slight_smile:

I like your painted concept a lot, very detailed and a very good mood overall.
As for your render, these are my only 2 critics.

the light over the stones: it seems to me it’s going too much from the right of your scene, maybe you could rotate it a bit to let it come ideally from the moon, which seems to be the main light source of the scene

the moon: I’d increase its brightness a lot and I think it should gain realism with a halo light surrounding it

@shilam
critics are welcome and thanks for the tips.
probably have opened this post too quickly.
compliments for your works.
