Nice Background - love the wood texture of the table!

The silver ring around the number field is somehow not right - you see the golden back on the top and it is generaly confusing.

What if you pulled the numbers and pointers a bit inside the sphere - I think it would look better, maybe - but don’t take my word for it - this is the internet!

i would definitely buy that
also, it might be just me, but it doesn’t really look as if the legs are connected to the sphere…maybe make a groove where it connects?

Yeah, I want to get one, too  very good clock. I think the material settings are perfect and the reflection of the environment around is pretty nice. I guess it’ll be more realistic with kind of a DOF effect for a bit blurred background and AO to get a blurred shadow

thanks for the comments.

Elexxx : good eyes , i even notest it
noidtluom : mmmmm i see what i can do.
Hans : and yes , it’s look match better whit AO , even the shadow.
dont hesitate to c&c ,

Great work!Texture and material are perfect, also modeling of the clock.Nice scene:yes:.

great improvement on the second rendering - OK, I’m buying now too

Wow, it’s great. The second render really looks like the clock is put on a wood table in the real world. I feel like the problem with the connection of the legs was also solved.

The only negative is that you show to much of the background… if you aren’t planning on adding something else to this scene I would suggest to put the camera even closer.

Otherwise it looks great man.

I guess this is a good example of the old saying, ā€œtoo many cooks spoil the soup.ā€ It really looked good before all the changes. There were some modeling issues which noidtluom and Elexxx pointed out, but the changes made with the lighting and shadows and blurring the background do not appear to be an improvement, imho.

Orinoco : i see what you mean , i lost a part of the ā€œmoodā€ , in french ā€œambianceā€.
But i have to match respect from people that gives a oppinion.
So i try it, and see what i can do whit it .

I suppose you dont buy one , but welcome in the cooking club :)

I’m working on it and, add some things in the near future , so "tef " have an answord to.

So i try to get more , … see for yourself.:eyebrowlift2: but it’s a WIP til now so , comments please.
i dont want to offend someone, my english is verry poor so …

I think it looks great man… simple but yet beautiful.

Oh, I still want to get one. I like your good color combination in your render. I’m looking forward to the finished project.

Oh, the clock! Of course I’d buy the clock! Probably be willing to pay 40 or 50 bucks for it, if you’ve got connections with a Belgian clock manufacturer. (Unfortunately that’s only 30 to 40 euros…) I just didn’t buy the cloudy blur on the second background. Third image looks good, too, but what’s that cord sticking out of the side? Isn’t this a mechanical clock?

No more time today , so just a update.
Textures and perspective is not yet ok , i think to ad some more things.
But so you have an idea.
