ok ive finished the scorpion, and i am very happy with the results, i don’t know much about hydrolics so i just made something that looked right. it may not be as good as rixtr66’s spider, IMO, but i can’t work lightflow all that well yet so i just rendered it in blender, not that there is anything wrong with that

what are you talking about,thats awesome!its just as good as mine,a little better actually,the modelling is good ,shadows are better,and you got the glowing red that i couldnt get with lightflow.cool stuff,the hydraulics are beleivable,all you need is a scene.

Really good! Rendering with external renderers can be a bit overrated as far as I am concerned, if you can’t make things look right in Blender, you won’t necessarily be able to make it look any better with an external renderer. It actually can make it worse sometimes…
