??? SPIN ???

i am creating a bottle and plan on using the spin feature but when i try to actually spin the vertics the cursor becomes a question mark and blender doesn’t do anything! What causes this?

also the only way to get around it (or so i have found) is to press the key sequence to get it to do it - but i can’t figure out what key to press - so what key makes the selected verts to spin?

The ? is asking you which window (or view) you want to spin in.

so what do i do then? just press the view port or just click in the window?

If your using more then one window try to select it in the window you want to spin it, or have just one 3D view and do it that way.

i got it to work - that’s how the glassworks thing was done!
