Spitfire MK 9 For Phoenix RC Simulator

Hi folks! A guy on youtube recommended this site to me named Mark Alloy. I have been going through his very detailed aircraft modeling video series on youtube and although I’m not building that plane, his modeling techniques have helped me tremendously. So I thought I’d post a couple pics of what I have so far. I’m fairly new to blender and still know very little of its texturing power so I have the random colors in blender selected here which oddly is another thing I learned from Marks video series. I had never seen the random colors available in solid view. Most of my painting of models so far has been on an exported 1024x1024 2d. png. That’s what Phoenix simulator likes to have its material file on.
So here is a pic and I do not mind in the least any help or advice more advanced modelers have to offer.

Blender 3.41 was my 1st version and I’m still using it today but do have 4.1 downloaded also.

Thanks luispabloherrera!
I’ve learned to not be in such a rush to get one in the simulator now and take more time to refine things. I’ve just recently learned how not to wreck my model with Sub D also thanks to Mark. Still need work on topology, getting rid of triangles and n-gons and what not’s.

Are you working from drawings, reference photos or a mix of the two? Not a loaded question btw, just genuinely curious!

Yea just some downloaded free drawings from the web! Top, side and front view. Here are some pics of the rims. I just threw these colors on to have something to look at during the build and likely won’t be the final color though I always loved yellow on the real RC models. Its easy to see even on cloudy, dark and grey days.
