I think in order to gain more respect as a professional tool, Blender needs to have a more profressional look… Here’s my entry. ,Jared
:-?
Were you dissing other peoples work or were you saying yours has a ‘more profressional look’?
Either way, I’m missing the point.
WOW…
Blender must have the biggest Splash-collection in the world by now.
Here’s an Idea:
I’d probably be a nice change if we re-created the splash system
to open with a different splash each time we opened Blender.,
there’s THAT many nice splashes!
I was inspired by emu.

Looks more like fur than feathers to me, even if they really are feathers from a biological point of view.
A nice opportunity to recycle some of my old art.
Alarm Clock Character
Extreme Close Up
Red Green Blue
Twice the Balls, twice the fun!

I’m sorry, I don’t know that Suzanne is the Monkey, I’m Out I have lost de Original .blend
me descupem, eu não sabia que a Suzanne era o Macaco, eu to fora então, é que eu perdi o .blend original
I persoanlly think the new splash should be somthing from project orange… Just a thought. I say this because project orange kinda shows a huge step being made for blender.
i totally agree with that. it would even be cool if the splashes were stored in a directory instead of the executable (are they? oh well nvmnd) so everyone could have his own set of splashes although this would make this contest kinda senseless ^^ … nvmnd.
also good idea with that project orange thingy…
^How’s this?
Hey, here are two I’ve made.
Possible another or two to come.
