Spline modelling in Blender

I am an architect and working in 3ds Max all of my life but going to try to make couple of projects in Blender.
Main way to modelling I use is making sections with splines and exrtude them. This way gives flexibility to change configuration of windows, walls, profiles (especially in classic architecture). But splines in Blender are very weak. And Blender has not tools for outlines, splines boolean operations, even to making simply square with spline I need to make circle first and then change ponts to corners and then rotate it to 45 degrees!!!

Either of these applications will be much more suitable for your needs as you’ve outlined them.

You will either have to change your workflow to poly modelling or stay with what you know works for you

I don’t think there’s a way to replicate exactly what you are used to do on Max, but maybe with some addons and/or a few changes on the workflow you can achieve the same thing on Blender. :slight_smile:
