Splitting a window into 4

Hello.
i’m a Major Noob. and i’ve been using blender for a day now.
i’m using the noob-pro tutorial. and just after the pyramid it says now split the window into four. this is shown in the
Noob to Pro/Blender windowing system. But it’s not.
Please Help
