I know its old, my bad. I recently saw it on tv again, and I cannot get over how funny this movie is. I wanted to hear that some adults liked it, so I looked up reviews, and I got a load of ‘innapropriate’ and ‘this movie isn’t funny, and spongebob is dumb, and stuff’. I didn’t understand. BTW, my favorite part is when they jump off the edge cuz they think they’re invincible, and spongebob asks why they didn’t take the stairs, and patrick goes “becau–… ummm” and has really funny facial expressions and stuff. Hahahha. O lordy.
did you guys find it innaproriate, or not funny and stuff?
yeah… nick has gone down the drain… cartoon network stomps them in the dust. but what i cant stand about nick is their stupid “zoey 101”, “i carly”, “drake and josh”, and “naked brother’s band” kind of shows that they try to pull off. they’re just,… well, BAD!
okay… well cartoon network has a few bad eggs, like shudders squirel boy. but you have to admit, it houses the widest variety of cartoons than probably any other channel in the world.
@NJROTC: True, but variety doesnt mean quality. The classics are almost never on Cartoon Network, the new shows are incredibly annoying… I get a kick out of Spongebob 90% of the time I watch it(which isnt too often really), though I would agree that basicly everythign else on Nick is a waste.
I saw the movie recently, I didnt think it was fantastic, but I still love the show.
Of the 5 new episodes of Spongebob this week, the first and last were the best. Giant Squidward was a hoot at the beginning, The Splinter was good and Spongebob didn’t cry like he does with most injuries. House Fancy hailed the return of Squilliam.
well i admit spongebob is good lighthearted fun, and i like to watch it every once in a while.
but you know what cartoon almost made me piss myself with laughter everytime i saw it? the dark, cynical randomness that was… Invader Zim! i loved that show!
I liked the Spongebob movie. I can see why a lot of people don’t like the 'Bob, tho. You have to be a kid or be able to emulate one in your head. I think most people actively try to lose their ability to be a kid mentally when they start growing up.
