Hope EA’s involvement isn’t too detrimental, Maxis has made some good stuff in the past.

That game does look sweet, but there isn’t really much to it? After watching the video, I see no point in getting that game. I’ve basically just experienced the whole game already…
Seems a bit pointless, however the whole creature creation thing, is sweet… If only they implemented it in a differernt game…
That’s like saying “Apart from the whole city-building part, SimCity has no point!” 
It’s made by Maxis. The guy talking in that video is the guy who designed SimCity. Of course it’s going to be an open-ended designing game with no real plot.
If that’s not your favorite kind of game, by all means, don’t buy it.
