Maxis was a standalone company before EA bought it, just like other companies like Westwood.
If you want to know more about EA’s stupid ideas what about the bright idea of having civilian cars and some buildings indestructable in C&C 3 even when you forcefire on them. When I play Nod I would’ve liked to destroy the cars and all the buildings which were all destroyable in previous C&C games.:eek:
