Hi just following a tutorial on volumetric lighting… but I don’t have a “Step” value to enter with my halo setting for my spot lamp… anyone know why this might be so? Using 2.64 and also looked at the latest beta.
Step setting is still there, right under Halo check box.
I’m sure you’ll also notice from whatever tutorial you may be watching that the Step value is a setting for when using Buffer Shadows not Ray Shadows
Doh thanks guys… I thought I checked whether it appeared in buffer shadow mode but I obviously didn’t…
