Spot light colour through glass?

Okay, here’s a simple one:
I have a spotlight with halo enabled, which passes through a piece of glass. Why when it passes through the glass does it not have the same colour?

I believe that the halo is just an effect; it will not be affected by refraction or by the color of something. If you want that you should try Yafray or maybe Indigo and Luxrender.
