How can i make an image that i loaded into blender and mapped on to a plane always face the camera? (I believe they are called sprites, but I could be wrong)

hi!
add a material to the plane and add the texture to it (i think you already did this :P), then in the material settings tab, in the “game settings” part, where it says “face orientation”, change it from “normal” to “halo”, and there you go
The plane has to be facing a particular direction (from editmode), so try it at different angles if it isn’t working.
The particular angle sdfgeoff mentions is -X, if I recall. Make sure your sprite plane’s normal is facing straight down -X.
