sprites

How can i make an image that i loaded into blender and mapped on to a plane always face the camera? (I believe they are called sprites, but I could be wrong)

hi!
add a material to the plane and add the texture to it (i think you already did this :P), then in the material settings tab, in the “game settings” part, where it says “face orientation”, change it from “normal” to “halo”, and there you go :smiley:

The plane has to be facing a particular direction (from editmode), so try it at different angles if it isn’t working.

The particular angle sdfgeoff mentions is -X, if I recall. Make sure your sprite plane’s normal is facing straight down -X.

Still not working for me!
Can anyone make an attachment a sample file for this work ??? Or a bit more to explain ??
