This really seems like a dumb question, but can I have both?
I have been working on a skin shader for a character that has wome wounds.
I made a few materials for the Epidermis, dermis and the back scattering SSS and then another one with no SSS for my textures. It seems like when I combine them, I have to choose between having the right ammount of SSS and having soft blurry textures (looks bad for the wounds) or having little to no SSS and having good sharp textures.
Is there any way to get the best of both worlds?
