Stained/Colored Glass

I have a lamp sitting on my computer desk that i decided to model lastnite… I got it all perfect except 1 thing… in real life, the lamp shade is glass… so you can see light coming from the inside, but you cant see the bulb (just the brightness) i cant seem to get the texture right… every time i set a little bit of transparency you can see the lightbulb in the pic
… any help?

I believe the setting you are looking for is Translucency in the Shaders panel.
