Stair Master — (Free Staircase Generator for Blender)

Turn a sloped face into a staircase in one click. You draw the slope and add loop cuts. The add-on generates horizontal treads, diagonal risers, and proportional nosing — as a separate object. No join, no replace.

The Problem

Making a staircase in Blender is tedious. Array modifiers break on spiral and non-uniform stairs. Manual extrusion means measuring every riser height and tread depth. And if you forget the nosing recess — which every real staircase has — it looks fake.

Existing staircase add-ons generate from numeric parameters. But they force a specific stair type. What if you want a zigzag? An L-shape? A custom curve? A fan-shaped stair with varying width?

please don’t get my wrong but I suggest to show a better example of your addon.

I mean that as addon that could automates the stairs creation I’m expecting something more automatic than what you showed… for example, you created a sloped mesh…then you duplicated, rotated and moved, then subdivided, then, for every sloped mesh you pressed the “create stair” button. All of these steps did manually.

For example, if you manually created the first stair and then, with all the steps modelled, duplicated, rotate and moved, you could finish it in the same time with , more or less, the same number of clicks.

But work fine, for the example you showed… so, agreeing with Marcatore on this one:

You’re right. Your suggestion is good. I understand, thank you.
