Standalone in 2.6

I was experimenting with the standalone function and first of all I keep getting an error asking me to restore the window if I click do not it opens up but when I get into the blender player my games has no textures.
Thank you

What do you mean ‘restore the window’
Can you give us a screenshot of the error dialog?

All it says is that blender unexpectedly quit and do you want to restore the window(This happens every time). if I click either one then it opens usually but the game is not textured.

That still sounds odd, since unexpectedly quitting on my Windows 7 computer doesn’t give you the option to restore the window - it just ‘crashes’ the application. As for the texture issue, make sure your textures have the same path as they do for the blend file (i.e. keep them relative), or pack them into the blend file. Also ensure that the scene you’re starting the game from is the same blending mode as usual (GLSL, Singletexture, etc).

It may be odd for a windows computer but I have a mac running OS 10 lion. And I don’t under stand what you mean about the same path.

By ‘same path’, I meant to place the texture folder in the runtime folder in the same relative position as they are to the blend file. For example, if your blend file’s in the folder MyGame, and the textures are in MyGame\Textures, place the Textures folder in your runtime folder, so that it’s “MyRuntime\Textures”. I can’t help you since I don’t use Mac, unfortunately. Taking a screenshot of the error is still advised, though.

The error is not very important. but here it is this is the original error

And what you saying about run time won’t work because I am using 2.63 and in render it shows stand alone and I just click on it.
