I recently saw a post from a “shps of the line” calender. It was this awesome picture, by *******, it was 3d model of the TOS enterprise, textured like the enterprise d. it was majorly awesome, as it shows that anything good can be made better. This Enterprise looks like a real ship, not a “frisbee with a couple of batteries”. 
How is that a ‘hybrid’?

It was called “Hybrid Enterprise”. if you look at the full res version, you will see that is textured and shaped more like a tng era ship than TOS. its “hybrid”, cuase despite all this, its still the original connie enterprise!!
