This one, truly, is a work in progress. There’s so much wrong with what’s happened so far, I can’t even begin to tell you, but I only started with Blender about a week or two ago. This fella’s name is IG-88, and I have a mini-bust of him made by GentleGiant Studios in my room. Anyways, this is as far as I’ve gotten, and I can’t figure out how to extrude those cylinders from off of his head, or put those scooped-out mouth-like holes in his head. As you can see, I only have a very general shape of his head, and I haven’t figured out how to make the cone on top curve like it does on the real thing, or how to get the slant at the very top. I know how to get the slant, but it’s not a very efficient method.
I’ll put two better pictures up.
This is probably the one I’ll use.
The top on this one is slanted as you can see, but I was a moron, and I subdivided the entire cylinder, which gives it that weird creased look.
IG-88 this could be good. I wish you luck
Ig 88 rules. Good luck!
Haha, thanks for the support. I hope to work tirelessly tomorrow and maybe make some progress. :eyebrowlift:
When it finishes… goes Boba Fett?
Luck, and i wait to see the progress!
Well, I gave up for a while, and I worked on other [meaningless] crap, but I started from scratch yesterday, and this is my progress so far. MUCH better than before, but PLENTY of room for improvement. Tell me what looks like crap. I need me a critical eye.
Oh, I forgot to post this one. Just to make him look badass. Lol.
I just recognize him well… that’s a good thing, don’t you think?
Keep on updating!
