There was so much anticipation for Episode 1, and everyone felt let down… Yoda fighting in Ep 2 was okay, but the movie was pretty forgettable…
So now they’re working on the last one. Is anyone excited about Star Wars anymore? Does anyone care?

Well…my opinion is long and complicated. First of all when you think of the original trilogy, you have to admit those are the pinacle of all Star Wars films. I love those films.
And in episode 2, Yoda fighting was awesome, I never knew such a little thing could use such a big lightsaber. Now, I have decided that well, I don’t really like how the series has progressed. In the original trilogy, you have the same characters the whole entire trilogy, but now they progress by like 10-15 years per movie. In my opinion it would have been better to go back and fill in the time up to episode 6.
So unless I hear that there is some awesome fight scene with Yoda blowing up a giant space station with a super fart, then I think I will just go to hear what John Williams has come up with this time. Gosh, hes a good composer.
Well those were my ten cents.
I think episode 2 is awesome, and episode 1 isn’t nearly as bad as everybody says. I’m very much looking forward to episode 3.
acually I am not as much looking forward to episode 3 as to episode 7, 8 , and 9 because last I heard george plans on doing them next. I like to read and know whats going to happen because I read the books but ah,
#!Spoiler alert!# Han Solo gets married to Princess Lea #!Spoiler Alert!#
well theres my 2 cents as I’ve lost the other 8 or at least I think so…
It’s gonna be tough to do a 7-9 because of the MASSIVE amount of novels that take place during that time period.
There’s only been rumors about 7, 8, and 9, no proof at all that they’ll be made.
Whatever they do, I hope they replace the crappy dialog, and cutesy characters with some good old ass kicking, and also I hope they get rid of the comic sound effects. I love Star Wars, but every time they insert some affectatous cheese-ola, it takes me right out of the movie. And for goodness sake, give Jarjar Binx and extended vacation.
Definitely with you on Jar Jar. I don’t know what George was thinking with him…
I heard the 7,8,9 rumor. Isn’t it based on some article that said Peter Mayhew (chewbacca) hadn’t just signed up for Episode 3, but for possibly doing 7,8 and 9?
Also, I don’t think Harrison Ford would do it. He’s doing these other kinds of movies now, and I don’t think he would want to go back to being Han.
Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamil would sign right up, though.
You know what’s funny? I’ve never seen a single Star Wars movie in my life; not even any of the older ones. I’m probably the only person on this board who hasn’t seen any of the movies.
Wow. You’re deprived.
I know, it’s amazing. Not that I don’t want to see them, I just don’t get around to it.
Welll…I remember the first ones in the late 70´s and early to mid 80´s movies…they had more dark and mature story to them than the first of these new 3 movies…as for the episode 1 when the story starts and all, it really feels more pointing towards kids rather than mature audiance, so for me it was little of dissapointment…cause I was a kid when I saw the very first movie (I was about 9-10 years old) but I really enjoyed even if it was more “dark” movie/s…but the CG is better now…but I find the story to be as important as the CG…I have seen couple of scifi movies which is crap just because of the storyline… :-?
First of all I am in no way a big star wars fan… the only reason I’ve watched them realy is for the fx and fighting… And in my opinion E-I is alot better than E-II… (only reason that E-II is worth watching is for the Yoda fight, and they took out the part where duku has 2 lightsabers while he’s fighting yoda!) So my basic opinion about star wars is that i don’t care… you wanna talk about a good movie? i can’t wait till 2006 when Peter Jackson starts making the Hobbit!!!
I think people will see it just to know how it ends/begins.
theres not much story to tell between the books, unless they plan to make a saga after the yuuzhan vong. Or base it on one of the books
