when I started modeling, I wanted to create a ship that had the same style and feel as the ship that appeared in pitch black, but as I was modeling, it got closer and closer to looking like the original ship, so I eventually decided that I would simply recreate a variation on the original design.
so here it is, the Hunter-Gratzner II
the basic design is that of the original ship, but all of the little details, and greebling are completely made up… (I had no reference picture, so all I can remember is the basic design)

so far, it has taken about 3 days.
really nice detail,
although it would look more realistic without the use of the a mirror modifier for the little details I think
I didn’t use any modifiers.
another update:
added another section, with access hatches for outside maintenance during flight.
also, does anyone have any reference pics of the ship> because I can’t find any, online or on youtube.

this is the second to last section. the last section is the flight deck, and I am not sure where to go with it. ideas would be helpfull
