I did’nt placed the image because it’s 170kb and I didn’t want to boggle down slow connected people.

This is my opinion:
The geometry is way to simple. There is something missing from it that turns it from a abstract shape into a spaceship.
That thing looks weird, it looks like if it comes from another galaxy! But otherwise, it looks good.
it looks organic…and why not a organic ship ?
I like it…maybe better texture…and maybe some sisterships as well !!
Just my op, but it just looks too smooth. Needs more corners and boxier? The texture you have on there looks too small for the ship for some reason as well.
Take a look at mine below to see what I mean about being more boxy.
As I said, just my opinion. Keep it up.

I actually intended to make a smooth starship, but I’m thinking to rip open a thin strip of the flank and fill it up with weird mecha stuff.
I also must enhance that emitting texture faking windows.
The idea of sisterships is great! You need them, I’ll think of a design.
This is a Star Ship, not a Space Ship. It is huge many undreds of meters long and wide

well, just a idea…but it would be cool to see it finish…why not add some nebulosa background pic…would be nice as background !!

I think it’s pretty good, and yes I think it looks really big.
OK, go for an organic look, frag that metal texture entirely.
IF you add windows, make them few, and only in small sections of the ship.
add some kinda glow to the ship, not so much a engion as just a long, glowing strip along a section of it.
Then you’ll have one COOL organic ship.

You’ve been looking at Giger’s work too, I see. But that’s the trick, how to make it look organic, yet still a functioning spaceship with windows and engine ports. Giger had the same problem in the movie Alien, that’s why the approach to the ship on foot was shot on a fuzzy camcorder.
4 me it looks rather like a dolphin than like a starship …
I don’t understand why you post a WIP in the “Finished Projects” Part of the Forum…
That thread is from 2002, there was no WIP section back then.
