Static button ,where?

Hello

i try to make hair. Tut say: Press F7 particeles Press new and ( Static. )

I cant find static buttons in my Blender 2.46. where is it hide.

Blender 2.46 has the new particle system.

To make hair you’ve to create a new particle system and where it says emitter there’s a dropdown menu where you can select hair.

Once done this you can press set editable button and go to particle mode in the viewport to edit your hair. You can comb, smooth, cut, puff…

Yeah the “Static” buton no longer exists. :wink:
