Hi, i’m Slashzero, i’m a newbie here in blenderartists and have been using blender since 3+ years as a hobby.
And here in Blender 2.8 i made this artwork called Station 18 to try out the latest blender with a new twist, to make a digital painting out of blender!
The process includes modelling, camera composition, shader nodes, and texture painting, finalized with compositing. Stil haven’t utilized the new grease pencil yet but i’ll try to use it on my next work.
So, what do you think? If you have something to say about it i’m welcome to.
The video of the process (13hrs total in original time)
Nice work! Their definitely are a lot of benefits to using 3d for 2d work, like making sure the perspective is realistic, testing out different lighting and color combinations, and making any repetitive objects easier to create.
Thinking about it, I should probably try doing this more myself! Cool to see your process in the video.
